Alliance Chemicals is a provider of protection products & services primarily for the Forest and Timber Industries. We have a range of happy customers all over the South Island who use our products and services.

Also acting as an agent for a number of leading specialty manufacturers, Alliance Chemicals can provide a diverse range of products specifically suited for use in the surface coatings area.

With a focus on identification of appropriate solutions and products, backed up with sound technical support, Alliance Chemicals can provide a ‘protection link’ from forest to processing, to remanufacture, to end market.

We provide fungicides for log end spraying and antisapstain treatment for sawmilling. As green sawn timber comes out of the mill, we provide a range of antisapstains to stop your wood products from being infected by mould, sapstain, and decay. This includes sawn timber in block stack and fillet before going into a kiln. Log end spraying is also used to prevent sapstain prior to export.

Chemical Treatments

Sawn Timber and Logs need to be treated if they are to remain durable. We offer a range of industrial chemicals to help prevent issues such as sapstain and mould. This includes antisapstain for application at the sawmill and log end spraying (red or green) in the field. Our chemicals are a prophylactic.

Treatment Plant Operator

We provide that protection link between forest, processing and market. We are a qualified treatment plant operator so whether you need custom treatments or someone to run your treatment plants we are here to help.

Technical Support

We offer not only the product but also the service. We can make sure your systems are running okay and offer backup technical support including identification of issues through imagery.
